New Fields Blog

I’ve been writing and reading as long as I can remember.

Over a hundred journals on the bookshelves to the right of my old oak desk where I type on my computer right now tell stories of love, seeking, lament, happiness, exploring, wrestling, belief, disbelief, grief, transformation. I still favor the kinetic sense in my body of writing morning pages—or any time pages—with an ink pen to paper connection.

If you’re curious about earlier blog posts from 2009-2021, visit eNewFields.com and my Field Notes blog.

When working as a communications pro for eleven years, I also shared stories on my KPBSD Field Notes blog if you want to read about K-12 education related topics.

You’ll mostly find my writing from Pegge Erkeneff, and when I was married from 1994-2011, with my married last name of Pegge Bernecker.
